¿Cómo está el tiempo?
How's the weather?
When you want to ask what the weather is like, there are a variety of phrases you can use, including:
- ¿Cómo está el tiempo? - How is the weather?
- ¿Cómo está el clima? How is the weather?
- ¿Qué tiempo hace? - What's the weather like?
When you respond, there are 3 verbs commonly used to describe weather conditions:

- hacer (to make): hace frío - it's cold
- haber (there is): hay relámpagos - there's lightning

I feel as if this game (lesson) doesn\'t teachenough. It is sort of boring, the way that they make you just click on something, then listen to it.
I also think that if they made it mare fun we would be more fun

Hello from Spain,
Take care with the words TIEMPO and CLIMA. There are some differences, as well as with METEOROLOGIA and CLIMATOLOGIA. The weather in a given moment, or the next weekend is EL TIEMPO, o METEOROLOGIA. The weather along moths or years is different. This is called CLIMA or CLIMATOLOGY of a given city, region or country.
Also, you have differences between the words weather and time. In Spanish we call it the same, TIEMPO. But there is an equivalent word in Spanish for weather, which is TEMPERIE, but it is not used very often.
Greetings from Spain, Emilio.
