Spanish alphabet<\/a>, apply initial sounds to letters, practice letter formation and learn basic\u00a0alphabet\u00a0sounds and words.<\/p>\nThis activity can be use in kindergarten to 2nd grade kids, for 30 minutes of practice.<\/p>\n
MATERIALS:\u00a0Computer, internet access, OnlineFreeSpanish website, paper, pencil and eraser.<\/p>\n
ACTIVITY<\/p>\n
Instruct the children to click on the letter icons in the website in any order to see, hear, and manipulate the sounds and letters of the alphabet. Instructs them to listen to the letters by clicking on them and then repeat the sounds.\u00a0 Repeat several times.<\/p>\n
Instruct them to spell each word on paper and spelling the word in Spanish by sounding it out as they heard it each letter.\u00a0 Ask them to practice writing the word that they like the most \u201cMi palabra favorita es: __________________.\u201d filling the blank with their favorite word.<\/p>\n
