\"\"<\/a>Del 15 de Septiembre al 15 de Octubre, se celebra el mes de la Hispanidad. La raz\u00f3n por la que eligieron iniciar el Mes de la Hispanidad el 15 de septiembre, es porque es la fecha en la que celebra \u00a0la \u00a0Independencia de cinco naciones de Am\u00e9rica Latina: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras y Nicaragua. M\u00e9xico, Chile y Belize celebran su Independencia los d\u00edas 16, 18 y 21 de septiembre respectivamente.<\/p>\n

En Estados Unidos muchos latinos e hispanos han realizado importantes contribuciones a la sociedad logrando importantes \u00e9xitos en la ciencia, arte, deportes, pol\u00edtica y muchos otros campos.<\/p>\n

Existen diferentes formas de celebrar el mes de la herencia hispana. Podemos leer algunos libros a nuestros hijos o alumnos, en Espa\u00f1ol, o realizar eventos donde los ni\u00f1os puedan compartir su herencia hispana. Por estos d\u00edas en la escuela de uno de mis hijos realizaron un evento donde los ni\u00f1os deb\u00edan crear una cartelera en la cual se recopilara su herencia hispana. Fue muy bonito el proyecto, pues mi hijo coloc\u00f3 fotos de sus abuelos, joyas, dinero, la bandera, productos como el caf\u00e9 \u00a0y visti\u00f3 para su exposici\u00f3n una camiseta con los colores de nuestro pa\u00eds, Colombia.<\/p>\n

Realmente sentimos que nuestro hijo est\u00e1 muy orgulloso de su herencia hispana.<\/p>\n

Como hispana, los invito a participar en esta celebraci\u00f3n, ense\u00f1ando a nuestros hijos las tradiciones, la cultura y lo m\u00e1s importante el idioma Espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n

From September 15 to October 15 is celebrated Hispanic Heritage month. The reason for chose to start the Hispanic Heritage Month September 15, is because it is the date on which celebrates the independence of five Latin American countries: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. Mexico, Belize and Chile celebrate their independence on 16, 18 and 21 September respectively.<\/p>\n

In the U.S. many Latinos and Hispanics have made significant contributions to the country achieving significant success in science, art, sports, politics and many other fields.<\/p>\n

There are different ways to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. We can read some books to our children or students, in Spanish, or hold events where children can share their Hispanic heritage. In the past days, in the school of one of my children made \u200b\u200ban event where children had to create a billboard which compile their Hispanic heritage. The project was nice because my son put photos of their grandparents, jewelry, money, flag, products such as coffee and dressed for exhibition a shirt with the colors of our country, Colombia.<\/p>\n

We really feel that our son is proud of his Hispanic heritage.<\/p>\n

As a Hispanic, I invite you to participate in this celebration, teaching our children the traditions, culture and most importantly the Spanish language.<\/p>\n
