\u00a1Llegaron las\u00a0vacaciones\u00a0de verano! \u00a1Que rico! dijo nuestro\u00a0hijo\u00a0Carlos\u00a0en su \u00faltimo d\u00eda de clase, \u00a1No m\u00e1s\u00a0tareas! \u00a1Estupendo!<\/p>\n

Ese d\u00eda no dije nada por no arruinar su alegr\u00eda, pero el\u00a0lunes\u00a0siguiente sin falta y como es costumbre en casa a las 6:30 p.m., se hacen tareas, se lee algo interesante o se repasa lo aprendido ese d\u00eda. Cu\u00e1l fue mi\u00a0tristeza\u00a0al ver la cara de Carlos cuando le dije: \u201cOk, hijo, hora de hacer tareas\u201d \u2013 “No mami, son vacaciones”. Despu\u00e9s de 10 minutos de di\u00e1logo logramos conciliar s\u00f3lo 30 a 45 minutos de tareas diarios. Carlos entendi\u00f3 que hay que repasar lo aprendido en la escuela y que siempre tenemos que aprender algo nuevo todos los d\u00edas.<\/p>\n

Hemos encontrado\u00a0sitios\u00a0en la web muy din\u00e1micas e interesantes, que ense\u00f1an a los ni\u00f1os\u00a0algo nuevo todos los d\u00edas, y los mantienen informados de eventos y descubrimientos de su inter\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cWonderopolis\u201d (http:\/\/wonderopolis.org<\/a>) es uno de los\u00a0favoritos\u00a0de mi hijo Carlos. En este sitio publican un art\u00edculo diario con un video, en donde ni\u00f1os y los adultos aprendemos algo nuevo. Wonderopolis lo escribe en su p\u00e1gina: \u201cEs un lugar donde la maravilla y el aprendizaje se nutren a trav\u00e9s del poder del descubrimiento, la creatividad\u00a0y la imaginaci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n

Dogo\u00a0news (http:\/\/www.dogonews.com<\/a>) es otro sitio donde encontramos muchos art\u00edculos interesantes. Dogo significa joven o peque\u00f1o en\u00a0Swahili\u00a0\u2013 Aqu\u00ed los peque\u00f1os pueden expresar sus opiniones sobre el contenido que les interese y les inspire.<\/p>\n

Adicionalmente hemos comprado libros de acuerdo al grado de nuestros\u00a0hijos\u00a0que tienen diferentes actividades de escritura, lectura, matem\u00e1ticas, ciencias y sociales. Estos proporcionan diferentes actividades en las que los ni\u00f1os practican\u00a0ejercicios\u00a0de acuerdo a la materia.<\/p>\n

Es agradable a\u00a0la hora\u00a0de la\u00a0tarea\u00a0ver como los ni\u00f1os se interesan en un tema espec\u00edfico, o \u00a0escriben \u00a0una opini\u00f3n acerca del art\u00edculo le\u00eddo, ni mencionar como \u00a0siempre comentan en la hora de la comida, y aplican la\u00a0matem\u00e1tica\u00a0en \u00a0situaciones de la vida diaria.<\/p>\n

Todo esto es muy importante en el desarrollo de los ni\u00f1os y m\u00e1s si hay bastante\u00a0tiempo libre, como en las vacaciones.<\/p>\n

No me puedo despedir sin recomendarles practicar el espa\u00f1ol todos los d\u00edas. Los invito a visitar\u00a0Onlinefreespanish (www.onlinefreespanish.com<\/a>) todos los recursos son gratis y did\u00e1cticos para aprender espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n

Spanishwordsearchpuzzle (www.spanishwordsearchpuzzle.com<\/a>) tiene muchas\u00a0sopas\u00a0de letras, en donde puedes aprender vocabulario, la pronunciaci\u00f3n de las palabras y finalmente imprimirlos.<\/p>\n

Spanishplayground (www.spanishplayground.com<\/a>) tiene muchas ideas y links para visitar y aprender espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n

\u00a1Felices vacaciones! Con diversi\u00f3n, ejercicio y algunos minutos de tareas, vamos a divertirnos y a aprender algo nuevo a diario.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019Vacations\u00a0are here, Awesome!\u201d\u00a0Said our\u00a0son Carlos in his last day of class, no more homework! Yeah!\u00a0Well that\u00a0day I didn\u2019t\u00a0say anything, I didn\u2019t want ruin Carlos\u2019s happiness.<\/p>\n

But the next Monday like is usual in home, at 6:30 p.m., is homework time!\u00a0We need\u00a0to read something\u00a0interesting\u00a0or reviewed the topics that the kids learned during the day. I was\u00a0sadness\u00a0when I saw Carlos’ face when I said, “Ok, son, homework time” \u2013 \u201cNo mom, is vacation time!\u201d After 10 minutes of talk with Carlos we agree to work only 30 to 45 minutes of homework daily. Carlos\u00a0understood that\u00a0is important to review the topics that they learned in school daily and he understood too, that we need to learn\u00a0something new every day.<\/p>\n

We found\u00a0some websites, very interesting to teach kids something new every day and keep them informed of\u00a0special events\u00a0and\u00a0discoveries.<\/p>\n

“Wonderopolis” (http:\/\/wonderopolis.org<\/a>) is one of his favorites, they published daily different articles, all items have video, are stories where children and adults learn something new every day, as they write it on the page “It\u2019s a place where wonder and learning are nurtured through the power of discovery, creativity and imagination\u201d<\/p>\n

Dogo news (http:\/\/www.dogonews.com<\/a>) is another site, where we can find many interesting articles. Dogo means young or small in Swahili – Here children can express their opinions on the content that interests and inspires them.<\/p>\n

Additionally, we brought some books according to the grade of the child will be in the school next fall; they have different activities such as writing, reading, math, science and social studies.<\/p>\n

Homework time is good time, see the kids interested in a particular subject, writing an opinion about the article that they read, comment them on lunchtime, apply mathematical calculations to solve situations of daily life, all these are important in the development of children and more now when we have enough time in vacation.<\/p>\n

I cannot say bye without recommending practice Spanish every day.<\/p>\n

Onlinefreespanish (www.onlinefreespanish.com<\/a>) all resources are free and good training to learn Spanish.<\/p>\n
