A jugar y a divertirnos aprendiendo!

El juego de la cara – face game

Come and practice the parts of the face in Spanish with our interactive presentation.
http://www.onlinefreespanish.com/aplica/lessons/face/face2.htm

additionally you can practice the Lesson of the face with all the activities we have created for you.
http://www.onlinefreespanish.com/aplica/lessons/face/facemenu.htm

The face game, it’s really fun! Why?

In the face’s game we will learn the different parts of the face; additionally we will work our memory!
In the first part of the game, appears the face and each of the parts randomly (face – hair – eyebrows – eyes – cheeks – mouth – chin – nose – ears), these faces continue appearing, until we press the HERE button, all parts of the face stop and form a specific drawing of a face with all the parts, the game consist in memorize the face and then, with all these parts rebuild the face that we already memorized.

We find a blue area, in this area we can build the face using all the parts that are in the list in the right list.

Each part has 4 different options; like in the hair we have 4 different hair styles, one yellow, one brown, one orange and one black, in each of the other parts are going to find 4 different ways. These options allow us to reconstruct the face that we previously memorized. Additionally every time that we click in the face parts buttons, we can hear the sound of the part that we are using, that allows us to reinforce and memorize how pronounce the part in Spanish.

When we are sure that we built the face that we previous memorized, we need to press DONE, and we’re going to find how many parts are equal and how many parts are different from the original.
Finally we can compare the initial face vs. the face that we are done.
Enjoy the new game and learn!

A aprender jugando!

You can use your imagination in the song to represent each sense.

Different Schools, Different Environments

Learning Styles and Cultural Diversity

Most schools around the world offer similar lesson plans and learning styles for their students. However, some cultures vary in their teachings, and will offer a very different method of educating their young ones. For example, schools in the United States have a structured schedule, and a standard lesson plan that requires the teaching of basic educational elements such as math, science, grammar and English, reading, and physical education. Many countries similar to the U.S. in development and culture follow the same educational paths. Canada , Australia , and Europe all require similar education as the U.S. , while the standards in countries like Mexico and Brazil may be very different. Formal education isn’t even required in many countries. Some children are only required to attend primary school, and then are sent out to work in the family business or to continue their education at their choosing. In Mexico , children are required to attend school from preschool or kindergarten through high school, while in many under-developed countries in Central America only require students to attend to sixth or eighth grade, if at all. As countries grow and become more developed, more people are realizing the importance of a good education and requiring their children to attend more and more formal schooling. Ultimately, you can tell the status of a country’s development simply by how much importance is placed on education in that particular culture. Most English speaking countries in the Western world require foreign language education, which is commonly Spanish education. However, many cultures that don’t speak English don’t require foreign language education for their students. What does this mean? Simply that by taking the required courses in language education, American, Canadian and other English speaking students are better poised to succeed in the world because of their foreign language education. In the United States , acquiring the ability to speak Spanish is especially useful to citizens. With the proximity to Mexico and the large number of immigrants that come to the U.S. for a better life, it is helpful to be informed so that you can communicate. Although most high schools only require one or two years of Spanish learning or other foreign language education, learning more is always better. Impoverished and underdeveloped countries may not have the necessary tools to properly educate their youth. This is a problem that needs to be corrected in order for societies to grow and thrive. If a child is limited to only his native language and no formal education beyond life experiences, they are much less likely to succeed in the ways that college graduates and multi-lingual scholars can. It is not to say that the under-educated are always going to be less successful; this is not the case. In actuality, anyone can be successful in their lives and careers regardless of education, but a solid foundation of formal education can only help improve the situation. Ensuring that underdeveloped countries receive better education and understanding outside of their own culture and environment is one way to help make the world a better place.
